"Dolam"- viev from Krakowska street
Unitra Dolam was electronic company, located in Wroclaw. Dolam produced reed switches, thyratrons, microwave tubes, nixie tubes, receiver tubes, hybrid circuits,
LCD displays, and vidicons. Dolam was founded in 1961 as the Experimental Station of
the Industrial Institute of Electronics. The first products were electron tubes: rectifier diodes, thyratrons, vacuum probes. In the following years,
digital glow indicators (Nixie), widgets, microwave tubes and standard reed switches were produced. In 1965, the plant changed its name to Zaklad
Doswiadczalny Lamp Elektronowych "DOLAM". In the 1970s, the production of thin-film hybrid systems (lasting until the mid-1990s),
subsequent types of reed switches and liquid crystal displays (LCD) was launched.
In 1977 the plant changed its name to the Scientific and Production Center of Electronic Components and Devices "UNITRA-DOLAM".
The Center, apart from DZE "DOLAM", entered the Institute of Electron Technology at the Wroclaw University of Technology and the Vacuum Equipment Department (ZAP)
in Boleslawiec. The 1980s brought the launch of the production of telecommunications reed relays, hallotrons (discontinued production)
and microwave current wave (TWT) tubes. In the 90s, the production of high-voltage relays, high-frequency relays, reed sensors and the telecommunications relay
range was extended. On February 1, 1999, the state-owned enterprise "UNITRA-DOLAM" was transformed into a joint-stock
company called: Przedsiebiorstwo Produkcyjne Podzespolow Elektronicznych "UNITRA-DOLAM" S.A. On 1 January 2005, the abbreviated company name changed
from "UNITRA-DOLAM" S.A. on "DOLAM" S.A. December 21, 2009 "DOLAM" S.A. became part of the Bumar Capital Group.
